The Arc of the Quad Cities Area is hosting a Parent Learning Series focused on providing the tools parents of children with intellectual and developmental disabilities need to be the most effective. Attendees will learn how to create and protect the life you wish for your child, sibling or loved one.
Workshop Description:
Presenters from Prairieland Service Coordination Inc (PSCI). PSCI is an Independent Service Coordination Agency that provides conflict-free case management to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, The mission of Prairieland is to provide lifespan individual service coordination for persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities; Prairieland is here to help people with disabilities receive the assistance they need, want, and deserve to navigate daily living and to connect people with disabilities to their communities. Prairieland supports and assists individuals and families by identifying services, linking the individual to the services, and providing individual service-planning, coordination, evaluation, and advocacy.
