The Quad Cities Chamber presents a panel presentation about new government financial assistance programs being implemented as a result of the CARES Act, including the SBA's Small Business Debt Relief Program, Economic Injury Disaster Loans, Emergency Economic Injury Grants and the $349 billion Paycheck Protection Program that begins taking applications on Friday, April 3.
The webinar will include information about the application process, what businesses should do to prepare, application pre-work and financing options.

About our presenters:
Ryan Gleason, U.S.Chamber of Commerce
Ryan Gleason is a Manager of Congressional and Public Affairs for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce's Great Lakes Region that encompasses Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio and Kentucky. Prior to working at the Chamber, Ryan worked at a government affairs firm working with clients on a broad range of issues like taxation, banking issues and financial services issues in all 50 states and the federal government. Ryan's experience also includes working in federal affairs for an Illinois governor, working in a state legislature and working on a number of successful statewide campaigns. Ryan is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, double-majoring in Economics and Political Science and currently resides in Chicago.
Carrie O'Neill, Wells Fargo Bank
Carrie O'Neill is a Regional Private Banking Manager, National Private Banking-Northeast and Great Lakes Regions. She is the Quad Cities Market President in Davenport, Iowa. Carrie leads private bankers who work as part of a team to help meet high-net-worth clients' comprehensive wealth management needs. Private Banking team members specialize in developing and implementing tailored credit, deposit, and cash management strategies for clients.
Prior to joining Wells Fargo, Carrie was employed by National City Bank where she held a number of positions. Most recently she was in Middle Market Lending and served as Community Bank President. Carrie has been in the financial services industry for over 25 years.
Carrie earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Illinois and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Iowa.
Carrie volunteers her time serving the Quad Cities Chamber of Commerce Board, the Regional Opportunities Council, Renew Moline Board of Directors, Rock Island Arsenal Development Group and United Way. Carrie served as Chair for the 2014 Quad Cities United Way Campaign and was Co-Chair in 2015.
Tom Trone - SCORE
Tom Trone has nearly 50 years of experience in business creation, development and management as an experienced global executive, entrepreneur, educator and consultant.
Tom is a retired sales, marketing and business development executive from a renowned Fortune 100 global company who, early in his career, started, owned and managed multiple companies in several different industries.
He has taught strategy, entrepreneurship and marketing at the university level for 40 years. He is currently a faculty member of the College of Business at a major state university.
Tom has been an active mentor, coach and consultant to companies and entrepreneurs in many different sectors for over 40 years. His core advisory and consulting expertise is in new venture creation, strategic planning, business development, strategic marketing and change management.
He is a graduate of the University of Illinois College of Business and the Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management.
Joel Youngs, Small Business Development Center at Eastern Iowa Community College
Joel Youngs owned and operated his own insurance/financial services business for eight years. The process of starting a business from ground zero and concluding with a successful exit strategy is exactly the type of information that the IA SBDC clients are seeking. In addition, he has six years of banking experience in the Quad Cities and five years as a consultant with MidAmerican Energy, which helps when advising small business owners about lender presentations and business decisions.
As the current the Director of the Small Business Development Center at Eastern Iowa Community College, he serves four counties in the Eastern Iowa. Mr. Youngs sees over 150 small business owners per year ranging from one employee (the owner themselves) up to 250 employees. His advising includes helping business owner make strategic decisions with their business that could include: identifying profitability gaps, packaging lender financing, identifying appropriate local, state and federal programs that can help the business, as well as prepare for exit and acquisition strategies and pricing.
Mr. Youngs has a BA from Augustana College in Business and in Mathematics, and a MS from Western Illinois University.
