Edward (E.C.) Muelhaupt, MBA | Senior Consultant, Baton Global
Edward (E.C.) brings strategy-to-execution expertise gained from over 30 years of experience transforming companies to perform at a higher level. His passion for innovation drives him to lead teams to develop more customer-centric approaches, to reach and better serve target segments.
E.C. has worked for Booz Allen, as well as a consulting firm he founded, and other organizations across the country, including international companies, in many industries including healthcare, technology, financial services, manufacturing and logistics.
E.C. holds a Master of Business Administration from Northwestern University, Kellogg School of Business, and a BA in Healthcare Administration from Brown University.
Wade H. Britt, MIBS | COO, Baton Global
Wade's experience spans 25+ years running global businesses in the edtech and logistics sectors combined with his recent role as strategic advisor to a number of financial services institutions in the Midwest. Wade's experience spans the globe having run businesses in South America, Northern Europe and South Asia.
Wade is the COO at Bâton Global, which operates out of Des Moines (Iowa), Dubai (UAE), and Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia). Selected private sector clients that Wade has worked closely with have included NCMIC, Sammons Financial, Bank Iowa, EMC Insurance, and Bankers Trust.
Wade holds a Master of International Business Studies and a BA in Philosophy from the University of South Carolina. He has also taught Strategy and Globalization at Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa.
The Quad Cities Chamber received grant funds from the U.S. Department of Defense – Office of Local Defense Community Cooperation to support educational events like this focused on key areas of challenge faced by defense manufacturers in the region, including cybersecurity, workforce capacity and defense industry resiliency and innovation.
