Matt Hoeper, Security Manager for Winsor Consulting explains that during this pandemic we are having to balance business processes with state and federal orders that necessitate people working from home. In so doing, we are basically opening "doggy doors" to our network and not securing them, therefore allowing attackers to easily bypass all the security measures we worked so hard to put in place.
Virtual security threats and scams are increasingly becoming a problem for employers and employees alike. Learn basic network security recommendations and training ideas to properly secure your remote workforce.
Key Takeways:
1. Identify the methods attackers use to gain access to your data.
2. How to safeguard yourself and your employees.
3. Steps you can take to secure remote connections.
4. How to educate others to not fall victim to an attack.
