Description
YPQC at Noon: Networking Performance - Tips for Professionals Who Hate Networking featuring Rick Davis
To grow your business or professional opportunities, you need to connect with more people. That means doing the one thing most people are uncomfortable doing…Networking.
There are two reasons networking causes anxiety and becomes awkward for so many. 1) We’re afraid of looking/sounding silly. 2) We make it more challenging than it needs to be.
Rick Davis, from Davis Presentation Group LLC, shares awesome tips and strategies that help you become more confident and comfortable networking in any environment. And, we’ll have a ton of fun, too!
Participants will identify:
- The importance of networking and how to change your mindset around doing it.
- A plan for what to do before, during, and after any networking event.
- Exercises to help you approach, connect, and engage anyone you’d like to meet.
If you’re ready to break through the unpleasant feelings associated with networking, and start growing personally and professionally, then this is the event for you!
A Bit About Rick – “Pessimistic,” “Bland,” and “Lawn Gnome-ish” are words that are extremely rare when describing Rick Davis.
As President, Lead Trainer, and Otter Davis Presentation Group LLC, he helps thousands of people in corporate, non-profit and educational settings do more than they ever thought possible. He provides a safe and encouraging environment for any audience to enjoy growing, personally and professionally.
Rick’s creativity background includes professional improvisational comedy, stand-up comedy, acting, copywriting, voice-over and on-camera talent, directing, and hosting game shows. He has performed for over 1,000,000 people in a live setting. Audiences are sure to have a great time laughing and learning with Rick!
