Please help Zimmerman Honda celebrate their grand opening with a ribbon cutting on Thursday, October 4, 2012 at 5:30pm.  Located at 7030 44^th Avenue, Moline – John Deere Rd @ 70^th Street (east of new Menards)

·         The new state-of-the-art facility will have an 8-car showroom, and a second floor for offices and meeting rooms

·         The Service Department will have 25 service bays, including 3 bays for express oil change service

·         The automatic car wash will be available for all Zimmerman Honda customers

·         For customer convenience, there will be two waiting areas and a kid’s room, with a selection of beverages and refreshments served daily

·         The existing shuttle service will be expanded to handle all customers’ needs

·         Vehicle Sales, Service, and Parts departments will all have expanded hours to better serve customers

·         Zimmerman Honda’s Auto Body Direct Body Shop will continue its excellent work at its current location in downtown Rock Island

·         With the anticipation of New Vehicle Sales, Certified Pre-Owned Sales, Service, and Parts all under one roof for the first time, Zimmerman Honda has already hired 10 additional positions in preparation.  The anticipate the workforce to expand by another 10 positions after the relocation to Moline, bringing the total workforce to approximately 50-55 employees

·         With the completion of the new facility and its’ increased visibility, American Honda Motor Company has allocated extra shipments of new Honda vehicles to accompany an expanded selection of certified pre-owned cars, trucks, vans, and sports utility vehicles

·         In their 60^th Anniversary year, they are returning to their hometown of Moline where Zimmerman’s was originally founded

·         The vehicle showroom, Service Department, Service Write-up area, car wash, and surrounding sidewalks will all be heated by means of waste oil boilers
