Through a correlated purchase of life insurance and mutual fund shares, The Balanced Program can provide you with a guarantee of a life insurance policy as well as the potential for growth through periodic investments in Mutual Funds. Your mutual fund account can be set up as conventional, tax-deferred, or free from federal and state income taxes (with a Roth IRA). They also sell individual life insurance, health insurance, and mutual funds (which they can put into IRA's, 401K's, Rollovers, etc.).
