About Us

The YWCA of the Quad Cities has been working to empower women and their families in the QC community for over 100 years. The Rock Island facility offers child care (infant - toddler) and PreSchool for All, and after school programs for youth, as well as a state of the art fitness programs and Aquatic Center. YWCA QC also supports families through programs such as the Empowerment Center and ThePlace2B. The YWCA Empowerment Center in Davenport, Iowa, features a immediate needs pantry, community laundry facility and community shower facility and several resources to help families in need.
