Ken Cashion Joins Edwards Creative as Director of Engineering

Milan, IL—Get ready for a serious upgrade! Edwards Creative, known for bringing big ideas to life for museums and corporate environments, is over-the-moon excited to announce the addition of Ken Cashion to our powerhouse team. A Moline native, Ken is coming home to help elevate our engineering capabilities to new, exhilarating heights!

With a whopping 25 years of industry experience under his belt, Ken is a true veteran of transforming bold exhibit visions into tangible realities. He's not just a Master of Industrial Design and fine arts; he's a wizard at blending creativity with precision.

Ken's journey to Edwards Creative is an impressive one, built on a foundation as diverse as his talents! He started his career making an impact in the classroom, inspiring young minds as an Art Teacher. But the world of design kept calling, so Ken made a strategic pivot, heading back to school to earn his Industrial Design degree – adding that crucial layer of engineering precision to his creative toolkit.

From there, his exhibit career took off! From its beginnings as an Interactive Exhibit Designer at the Denver Museum of Nature & Science to years later working as a true design maestro at the renowned Exploratorium. He helped bring massive, multi-million-dollar international museum projects to life, overseeing the engineering, fabrication, and assembly of over 70 unique and complex electromechanical exhibits. Ken led the charge on a $5M installation at Singapore's Jewel Changi Airport and new exhibits for San Francisco's Golden Gate Park! He also spent years as a Design Engineer, tackling hardware solutions for everything from All Sky Imaging & Analysis systems to Mobile Earth + Space Observatories (MESO). It’s clear his brain is wired for innovation!
