From Wreckage to Recovery: Car Smash Fundraiser
Davenport, Iowa – Melody of Hope Advocacy Center is hosting a car smash fundraiser on Saturday, March 28, 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00PM at Happy Joe’s Pizza & Jungle Bungle in Davenport IA. The fundraiser is being held to raise funds and awareness for child abuse prevention.
 
“April is Child Abuse Prevention Month. Together, we can provide much needed funds for child abuse prevention and awareness. Together, we can go from wreckage to recovery. Join our kick-off event with a Car Smash, photos with the Easter Bunny, and pinwheels to raise funds to support our children’s advocacy services.” When you're done smashing the car, be sure to go inside and smash some pizza. All for a good cause! 
 
The Car Smash fundraiser will take place on March 28 from 10:00am to 12:00pm at Happy Joe’s Pizza & Jungle Bungle at 201 W 50^th Street, Davenport IA. Bridgeway Auto Parts of Moline IL has donated a vehicle to be smashed and Fred’s Towing will provide pickup and delivery service. Other sponsors include Silvis Lions Club and Happy Joe’s Pizza.
