Northwest Bank Investment Management Group Transitions to Tower Trust & Investment Company
Davenport, IA – Tower Trust & Investment Company, the only independent trust company headquartered in the Quad Cities, officially launched on January 1, continuing a legacy of excellence in trust, investment, and wealth management services. This newly established company builds on the expertise of Northwest Bank Investment Management Group, offering personalized financial solutions to individuals, non-profits, and businesses across the region.

The foundation of Tower Trust dates back to 1969 when Joe’s uncle, former Northwest Bank President Jim Slavens, established the bank’s trust department. The name was later changed to the Investment Management Group in 2008 to better reflect its comprehensive financial services. Under the leadership of current President Cody Allen—who joined in 2006 and became Senior Trust Officer in 2013—the firm has grown significantly, managing over $500 million in assets, which have now transitioned to Tower Trust & Investment Company.
