Davenport, Iowa – Melody of Hope Advocacy Center is hosting a car smash fundraiser to raise funds that will be used to provide meals and gifts for families in need at the holidays. Let's SMASH a car to raise funds for a good cause. $1/ 3 swings or $5/ 1 minute of swings. Bring non-perishable food for the food drive for extra swings. When you're done smashing the car, be sure to go inside and smash some pizza. All for a good cause! Proceeds from car smash fundraiser support programs and services at MOHAC. Food collected will be donated to River Bend Food Bank.
 
Melody of Hope Advocacy Center is a nonprofit organization serving Scott County and Eastern Iowa as the children advocacy center to provide prevention, assessment, treatment, and referral services for abused, maltreated, and/or traumatized children and their families. They also specialize in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of children and adolescents with behavioral, mental, and developmental disorders.
 
The Car Smash fundraiser will take place on Oct 25 from 11:00am to 1:00pm at Happy Joe’s Pizza & Jungle Bungle in Davenport IA. Bridgeway Auto Parts of Moline IL has donated a vehicle to be smashed and Fred’s Towing will provide pickup and delivery service. Iron Tee Golf has assisted by providing drivers for smashing in a few windows on the car for this specific event.
