Streamline Architects Welcomes Six New Partners, Announces Planned Leadership Transition

Quad Cities and Iowa City firm expands ownership for the first time, with founder Andrew Dasso
remaining principal architect

MOLINE, Ill. – Streamline Architects has named six team members as partners in the firm: Joe Hotle,
Melissa Morse, Saloni Patel, Caleb Rogers, Craig Shannon and Luz Upegui. It is the first time in the firm's
11-year history that ownership has extended beyond founder and Principal Architect Andrew Dasso, and it honors the people whose work has shaped Streamline's growth.
"When I started Streamline in 2015, I wanted to build a firm where talented people could grow, lead and make a lasting difference. It's why our first office was located in a storefront on Third Street, because I believed architects should be outward-facing leaders in the community. Joe, Melissa, Saloni, Caleb, Craig and Luz have embodied that belief. Bringing them on as partners recognizes what they have already built here and puts the future of Streamline in the hands of the people who carry forward our commitment to making the community a better place, ensuring our vision remains strong for decades to come," said Andrew Dasso, founder and principal architect of Streamline Architects.

Carrying the Streamline Legacy Forward
Over the past decade, Dasso has grown Streamline from a one-person practice into a team of more than 20 people who share his belief that thoughtful design makes communities stronger. The new partnership is the first step in a leadership transition he began putting in place to carry that work forward, led by the team he has spent years building.

Effective Jan. 1, 2027, leadership of the firm will be shared across that team. Saloni Patel will join Dasso
in steering the firm's leadership and executive strategy into its next era. Craig Shannon will lead
operations, Allyson Davis will lead marketing, Joe Hotle will lead human resources and Luz Upegui will
lead business development. The firm is also conducting a search for a leader of the finance team. Titles and additional details will be shared ahead of the transition.

Dasso will continue to serve as principal architect, spending more of his time on the work he does best: shaping early concept designs and building lasting relationships with Streamline's clients.
"I've always known the kind of people I wanted working beside me, and this group is exactly that," Dasso said. "They care about our clients and our communities as much as I do, and they're ready to lead. I'm not going anywhere, and I can't wait to see what we build together."
