Davenport, IA (May 15, 2025): The Group Obstetrics & Gynecology Specialists, P.C. is proud to announce a major expansion to its facility, designed to enhance access to comprehensive care for women throughout the Quad Cities and surrounding communities. The practice has added 7,300 square feet of space, enabling increased capacity and improved services for patients at every stage of life.
 
The new addition includes 13 state-of-the-art exam rooms, 4 procedure rooms, 2 dedicated patient education spaces, and a new conference room. This expansion supports The Group’s mission of providing timely, high-quality care by creating more immediate scheduling opportunities and quicker access for both new and returning patients.
 
As part of its growing service offerings, The Group began providing mammography screenings in October 2024, with over 3,000 screenings projected annually—an important step in supporting women’s preventive health.
 
“This expansion gives our team the opportunity to ensure timely, high-quality care for the women in our community,” said Dr. Briana Barclay, physician and owner at The Group. “We are better equipped to serve more women, more efficiently.”
 
Since relocating and expanding in 2014, The Group has experienced a significant increase in patient visits. The practice now includes 20 providers: eight physicians, six midwives, five nurse practitioners, and one physician assistant—six of whom joined between 2023 and 2025.
 
Dr. Kenneth Naylor, physician and owner, emphasized the importance of continued investment in women’s health. “I’m excited to meet the needs of more patients and expand our services with offerings like mammography, which benefits so many women in our region,” he said. “Even in a challenging healthcare landscape, our team’s collaboration, education, and dedication help guide every decision we make.”
