As a member benefit to Quad Cities Chamber members, the Chamber hosts bi-monthly 12 @ 12 meetings to allow members to connect with community leaders, discuss business issues amongst peers and hear an update on community priorities. These exclusive meetings are limited to 12 attendees (plus 1 community leader, 1 Chamber staff, and 1 Chamber volunteer) ,includes complimentary lunch and encourages vibrant discussion and listening between local companies.
A.J. Loss is the President/CEO of Bush Construction. Through his strategic leadership, Bush Construction has grown into one of the top commercial contractors in the Quad Cities and has been named one of the fastest growing private companies in Iowa by Inc. Magazine.
As president, A.J. oversees the strategic direction of the company, evaluates projects and markets to pursue, develops client and vendor relationships, acts as a unifying team manager, and reinforces the sound ethical beliefs upon which the company was founded.
A.J. served an enlistment in the United States Navy, holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Engineering from Iowa State University and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Iowa. He has over 25 years’ experience in the construction industry.
A.J. is a proud and active member of the Quad Cities community where he resides with his wife and three children. He serves as Chair of Our Savior Lutheran Church’s Building and Grounds Committee, Immediate Past Chair of the Associated General Contractors (AGC) of the Quad Cities, Immediate Past Chair of the Master Builders of Iowa, Vice Chair of Bridge Investments, Vice Chair of the Development Association of Rock Island (DARI), a Finance Committee Member and a Regional Opportunities Council Member of the Quad Cities Chamber of Commerce, Regional Development Authority Director, and an Architectural Review Committee Member of Greater Davenport Redevelopment Corporation (GDRC). He is a member of the Young President’s Organization (YPO), Design Build Institute of America (DBIA), and the Davenport Rotary Club.
