Description
"Business Applications for Additive Manufacturing"
What are the different ways additive manufacturing (3-D printing) can be used in your business? Join us for a discussion about the emerging technology’s applications across many functions led by Eric Johnson, Sr. Staff Engineer at the John Deere Moline Technology Innovation Center (MTIC). Following the discussion, the group will tour the MTIC laboratory where you will be able to see the machines in action and discuss technology applications.
About the Additive Manufacturing Users Group
Additive Manufacturing technology will change the face of manufacturing by replacing future processes and is on pace to emerge as an established trend on shop floors. The Quad Cities Manufacturing Innovation Hub has developed a Technology Roadmap of eight transformative technologies; one of these -- Additive Manufacturing -- has been identified as a breakthrough opportunity that will have an impact on our region's competitiveness. To accelerate our region's learning and investment, an Additive Manufacturing Users Group has been formed.
Why attend? Hear from local experts on best practices of this state-of-the-art technology. No matter what your knowledge level, this night will offer an opportunity to build your understanding of this game-changing technology and its business benefits.
