Find out when the Hub travels to the nationally renowned TechWorks Campus applied research center in Waterloo. See the technology and learn about its many innovative uses to improve manufacturing processes. The collaboration it enables is a must-see for manufacturers, innovators, and economic developers alike!
The intended audience for this trip includes those companies considering investing in, contracting with vendors for the technology use, or those businesses wanting to learn more about incorporating 3D printing within their processes. Transportation and lunch is provided at no cost to participants. Limited spaces are available.
The TechWorks Campus is a 30-acre advanced manufacturing, research and development, innovation, education, commercial and manufacturing center located in downtown Waterloo. Comprised of 20 acres of development sites and 300,000 square feet of flex space, this unique co-location of resources is a benchmark in innovation and economic development.
TechWorks is the best-equipped applied research center of its kind with a national reputation as the go-to place for additive manufacturing assistance throughout Iowa and the U.S. Private companies and students utilize this center for advanced product development and research. The center is staffed by leading innovators in the field of additive manufacturing from the University of Northern Iowa.
