Event Description:
A Good Business Starts With a Bad Problem

If you are an entrepreneur and you haven't asked yourself "What do people need?" instead of the usual "How can I make money?" then you're probably doing it wrong. The best way to ensure success with a unique product/service is to make sure that it fixes something that is broken, or adds even more value to something that's "already good." Join us for a morning of motivation as award-winning community activist, author, and speaker, Jasmine Bozeman, shares her approach to creating business in the Quad Cities. "Where is the gap and how can I use my gifts and skills to fulfill it?" is a thought process that helps translate what can I offer into what the market is asking for.

More about our speaker:
Jasmine Bozeman is an articulate, intelligent, motivated young woman with a beaming positive outlook on life. She has weathered major life challenges including: being the first in her family to graduate from college; escaping from a troubled marriage and relocating across the country; being a divorced single mom of three boys; and starting her own business while balancing a full-time job, home life, and community activism. Jasmine is a published author, certified motivational speaker, and engaging community activist. She is the winner of the first ever Girls on Fire Award, presented by Lead(h)er QC, and she is a 2018 grant winner of the Royal Neighbors of America Nation of Neighbors award. Jasmine is also the Founder and President of the National Council on Youth Leadership - QC, the President of Love, Girls Magazine, a mentor, a school volunteer, a RNA chapter leader, and the list goes on.

As demonstrated by the snapshot of her professional experience, Jasmine thrives on serving others. She has taken her training and research to a new level by now serving as the Founder & CEO of her own business, The Degree Experience, LLC.
