Friendship Manor, 1209 21st Ave. Rock Island, IL 61265, will host a ribbon cutting ceremony on Wednesday, Oct. 1 at 11:00 a.m. After over 35 years of service to seniors, Friendship Manor has expanded its services to include villa-style living. In the fall of 2013, Friendship Manor began construction on the senior villa community on a cul-de-sac directly south of their facility on 21st Avenue in Rock Island. Consisting of 13 villa homes, construction was completed in one year. Services in the villa include utilities, interior/exterior maintenance, housekeeping, trash removal, transportation for shopping/medical appointments, satellite TV and more.
