A Rally Cry for Mental Health in the Quad Cities

Linda Henderson-Smith, PhD, LPC, Director of Children and Trauma Informed Care at the National Council for Behavioral Health, has over 16 years of clinical and administrative experience in community-based mental health. Her previous experience includes working at the Georgetown University National Technical Assistance Center for Children’s Mental Health as the Director of Mental Health Planning and Policy, and at the Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities as the Director of the Office of Children, Young Adults and Families. As a trauma survivor herself, Linda brings a distinct perspective and knowledge base to mental health and addiction disorders services.
