MARCO Technologies will hold a 50 Year Anniversary Celebration on Wednesday, July 19 at 9:00 am in the lobby of the Quad Cities Chamber. The Chamber office is located at 331 W. 3rd Street in Davenport. Please join us for coffee and pastries to help them celebrate this huge milestone!
Marco is an industry leading technology company, but began as a small typewriter dealer. The Typewriter Shop was founded in 1930, by M.J. Dabol, and became the St. Cloud based company, Marco Business Products, Inc. in 1973. It was purchased by Gary Marsden and Dave Marquardt, former IBM sales managers. The name Marco came from the first three letters of their last names.
