Focusing on working adults and investing in employees provides long-term solutions for businesses and organizations in our community. There are education options for employees who are also non-traditional students, but navigating resources can be difficult. Flexibility is key for work and school schedules and non-traditional students need the ability to toggle back and forth between in person and online.
As companies increasingly update jobs with more virtual components, upskilling is a win-win for both employers and employees. Employee upskilling contributes to the community by:
- Expanding employee abilities,
- Building relationships with local businesses and colleges,
- Providing internal opportunities for advancement, and
- Helping families reach livable wages.
