Western Illinois University - Quad Cities, will celebrate the grand opening of Phase II of their Riverfront campus on Wednesday, September 3 at 4:00 p.m.

Phase II project will house academic programs in the Colleges of Arts and Sciences, Education and Human Services and Fine Arts and Communication. Phase I of the Riverfront campus, opened in January 2012, houses the College of Business and Technology, including the School of Engineering; academic and student services; and University Administration.

Following Wednesday's ribbon cutting celebration, Western Illinois University will provide music and entertainment, refreshments, and campus tours to all in attendance.  Parking for guests will be at the I Wireless Center in Moline.  Shuttle service will begin at 2:00 p.m.
