Part-Time, On-Call Snow Removal Employee
The City of Riverdale, Iowa, located at 110 Manor Drive, Riverdale, Iowa, 52722, is hiring a snow removal employee.
The snow removal employee assists City personnel with the removal of snow from City property, including, but not limited to, sidewalks, trails, and parking lots. This is a part-time, as-needed, on-call, permanent position with no guarantee of hours, and a pay rate of $17.50/hour.
Essential functions include, but are not limited to:
- Utilize the City's Public Works vehicle with attached snowplow, motorized push snowplow, shovel, and other equipment to clear snow from sidewalks, trails, and parking lots.
- Spread ice melting substances on sidewalks, trails, and parking lots as directed.
- Ensure doors and entrances are free from snow, ice, and debris.
- Push snow to areas that do not impact lines of sight at intersections, driveways, etc.
