This position is based at our Financial Center in Moline, IL.

 

Education and Experience:

  • At least three years of lending experience
  • Must earn a financial counselor certification from an outside organization such as CUNA FiCEP, AFCPE etc.
  • Proven success in Business Development and Community Involvement, cultivating and deepening current relationships while establishing new business client base
  • Interpersonal skills to represent the credit union in a positive way, both internally and externally at all times.
  • Must be eligible for NMLS registration
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required. Some college is preferable.
 

What are some of the day-to-day responsibilities of a Senior Lender?

  • Connect with members to assist them on their financial journey and building relationships with them.
  • Be attentive to the members' overall financial health, identify opportunities, provide guidance on the member's financial goals while achieving their financial dreams.
  • Interview and assist members in completing loan applications (personal, auto, credit cards, etc) and explain loan terms, rates, repayment schedules, and add-on options.
  • Monitor loan pipeline to ensure timely follow-up and processing.
  • Serving as a role model to team members while helping coach them through their training and certification process.
  • Provide member transactions, Opening new accounts, IRAs, CDs, account maintenance as well as originating, documentation and closing of loans.
  • Follow and comply with all regulations, policies and procedures.

  • The pay range for this position is $20.00-24.00/hour, plus Incentive Plan. Final compensation for this position will be determined by various factors such as relevant work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, certifications and internal pay equity.

Physical Requirements

  • Standing: Remaining upright on the feet, particularly for sustained periods of time.
