COMPUTER SERVICE AND REPAIR TECHNICIAN
JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a computer technician to do repairs and support our managed services program (MSP) for small business clients. The repairs are covered under the manufacturer’s warranty, insurance programs, third-party warranty, or non-warranty work, using time and materials. General IT requests include data transfer, installation of applications, data wipes, and other special IT service projects. Premier Computer Services, Inc. strives to give each client professional repair and excellent service.
Skill Set

  1. Have or obtain a CompTIA A+ Certification.
  2. Lenovo certification.
  3. Knowledgeable in computer science, 2-year degree, or equivalent information technology.
  4. Ability to communicate with clients on their issues.
  5. Data transfer, drive wipes, and other special IT service projects.
Computer Repairs
  1. Perform hardware diagnostics and computer repair.
  2. Create purchase orders, ship, and receive IT parts and equipment.
  3. Adjust to changing priorities.
  4. Physically able to stand, bend, squat, and lift equipment.
  5. Track and record repair process documentation using our ERM software system.
Managed Service Provider (MSP)
  1. Onboard clients, use RMM software to monitor & secure endpoints, deploy apps & patches, backup data to cloud, USB & firewall management.
  2. Remote and on-site support.
  3. Network troubleshooting.
Administrative
  1. Follow the manufacturer’s protocol for repair. 
  2. Track and record repair process documentation internally and with the manufacturer.
  3. Assure old parts from repaired computers are returned to the manufacturer.
