Marketing Coordinator
The Marketing Coordinator’s primary responsibilities are to support the agent's marketing plan to set them up for success, and to provide training around best practices in social media, website content, database and Ruhl&Ruhl tools and to create marketing materials for both individual and company use. The coordinator will oversee our customers’ digital experience from when they decide to visit our site (e.g. Adwords or Google) through landing on our site and converting into clients.

Work Location: In-person position primarily located at the Ruhl&Ruhl Realtors corporate office at 5704 Utica Ridge Road, Davenport, IA 52807. Work location may change as determined by marketing needs between NAI Ruhl Commercial or local and regional offices.

Weekly travel between NAI Ruhl Commercial, local and regional offices is expected.
Organizational Relationships

Reports to: Director of Marketing and Public Relations.

Other: Works closely with employees, agents, management, staff and the general public.
Essential Functions
Digital Marketing
-
Monitors website, including improving usability, SEO and Google Analytics, and keeping up with current trends with the goal of growing traffic and conversions year over year. This includes recommendations from our SEO Vendor. May make minor adjustments to pages as needed.

Pulls monthly metrics across for our website, to measure effectiveness of the digital strategy.

On a quarterly basis, updates the Ruhl Exposure flyer and website comparison charts using Google Analytics.

Knowledgeable in creating and editing marketing and training videos using Premiere Pro.
Graphic Design
-
Create and update email campaigns.

Create event flyers for fundraising and company events.
-
Create brochures, business cards, postcards, guides and advertisements for both print and digital.

Monitor branding to ensure consistency, provide suggestions for updates and improvements. Understand when and how to break away from branding appropriately.

Film and edit videos for internal and social use. Photograph events as needed.

Work with agents on custom advertisements, banners or sign requests.

Create physical materials, slides and short films for Award Celebration. Coordinate photography of the event. Assist events coordinator with other tasks as needed (ie. decorations, award ordering and management, day of set up).
Agent Training
-
Creates presentations for virtual and in office training that pertain to real estate marketing strategies and educating agents on our tools and resources.

Host training sessions to agents on our database, tools and the importance of flow. Training is provided to agents virtually and in-office.

Answers and responds to all agent questions and concerns via email, phone and Spiceworks, our help desk.

May assist new and existing agents in automated marketing programs, which includes ensuring they have a database and are sending Facts & Trends newsletter, flow postcards and LoLo, a gifting program.

Edits video how-to’s from agent training and classes.
Family of Services Support

Assist family of services companies (NAI Ruhl Commercial, Ruhl Mortgage, and Nelson Brothers Agency) as needed.

Prepare family of services promotional marketing materials as needed.
-
Compile monthly and quarterly family of services data, prepare letters and winner sheets.
-
Collaborate with Social Media Coordinator to create content.
Other duties include:

Pull and compile Excellence in Service winners. Prepare letters and winner sheets, order awards and update records.

Pulling data from various sources for use in marketing publications.
-
Back up support for other marketing team members as needed.
-
Provide administrative support to the President and CEO as needed.
-
Performs general administrative duties including typing, data entry, copying, filing, handling incoming and outgoing mail and faxes, making calls, and sending emails.

Troubleshoots for copiers, fax machines, printers, and computers. Submits work requests to IT as needed.
Physical Demands

Minimum Qualifications
-
Personable and a creative, collaborative and flexible team member!

Experience in Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat, Excel/Sheets and Canva preferred.

Experience using a DSLR camera and external microphones.

Knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Adwords and SEMRush preferred.

Degree in Marketing, Visual Communication, Communications or Business preferred

Excellent writing skills.

Strong computer and social media skills.
-
1 year experience in an office environment or marketing experience preferred.
