Job Description
The Two Rivers YMCA is seeking a visionary and results-driven Branch Executive to lead our Moline-East Moline facility. The Branch resides on a 30-acre campus with two pools, two gymnasiums, large fitness-wellness spaces, cycling studio, sport courts, preschool childcare and a unique partnership giving all members unlimited access to Riverside waterpark.
This role is ideal for an operational leader who excels at driving program innovation and maximizing the member experience. The executive will be instrumental in all branch operations while directly assisting the CEO in the Association’s $23M capital redevelopment project breaking ground in mid-2026—assisting with final facility design and managing operational shifts during construction. The successful candidate will ensure membership remains the core, while delivering superior program experiences in Aquatics, Fitness, Performing Arts (Dance, Tumbling, Cheer), and Family Engagement and leading the branch Annual Strong Kids Campaign.
Qualifications
· Education: Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) from an accredited four-year college or university.
· Experience: Minimum of three years of program experience with direct supervision of multiple levels of staff, with documented success in developing and growing programs (e.g., aquatics, childcare, youth sports).
· Leadership: Demonstrated ability to direct total operations through volunteer development, staff supervision, budget management, and program development. Experience with capital campaign planning or operations during construction is a significant plus.
· Certification: Ability to obtain YMCA Multi-Team Leader certification within two years of hire.
· Other Requirements: Valid Driver’s License and Car Insurance. Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people; oral and written multilingual abilities preferred.
Essential Functions
The Branch Executive is responsible for leading, managing, and sustaining all branch operations, with a focus on:
Strategic Capital Project Leadership:
· Serve as a key operational leader and liaison for the $23M capital development project (breaking ground mid-2026), assisting the CEO with design input for the new competitive aquatic center, new gymnasium, expanded fitness areas, and locker rooms.
· Lead planning and execution of operational adjustments necessary to maintain member experience during the construction phase.
Program Development & Member Experience:
· Champion a culture of exceptional member service, engagement, and retention.
· Develop and implement high-quality, mission-driven programs in key areas: Aquatics, Fitness, Tumbling/Gymnastics, and Youth and Family programming.
· Oversee outdoor waterpark programming in partnership with the City of Moline.
Fiscal Management & Fundraising:
· Directly manage the development and monitoring of comprehensive branch and department budgets (min. $100,000 budget oversight).
· Lead Board of Advisors and and the branch Annual Strong Kids Campaign to secure community support.
Staff Management & Operations:
· Recruit, hire, train, and evaluate full-time directors and staff, and approximately 200 program and membership employees.
· Oversee the branch risk management program and ensure high-quality, safe facilities and equipment.

Required Certifications
YMCA Organizational Leader certification preferred within 2-years
Salary: $64,000 - $81,150
