About Us

The Quad City Animal Welfare Center is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping animals and people in our community. We provide shelter care adoption services and foster programs for homeless dogs cats and other animals while working to find them safe loving forever homes.

In addition to sheltering and adoption QCAWC operates a low cost spay neuter and wellness clinic to help reduce pet overpopulation and keep pets healthy. We also offer humane education programs community outreach and support services to promote responsible pet ownership and compassion for animals.

Through the support of donors volunteers and community partners QCAWC works every day to improve the lives of animals and strengthen the human animal bond.

The mission of the Quad City Animal Welfare Center is to provide a safe shelter for homeless animals support a spaying and neutering program and promote humane education to enhance the quality of life for animals and people in our community.
