Hub Huddle: Planning for Change
Description
Hub Huddles are an opportunity for manufacturing leaders to share, on a peer-to-peer basis, best practices for growth and strategies to overcoming challenges.
“Preparing for Change”
Presented by:
Tom Waggoner – President of Living More, Inc.
Making sure your organization is ready for a new product, technology, or substantial change is critical to the success of your operation. There are six key areas within the life cycle of any product or service. We will briefly explore the key topics to assess within each of the following, and why they matter:
1. Requirements and capability
2. Design and scalability
3. Development and validation
4. Delivery
5. Operations and control
6. Continuous improvement
At the end of the discussion, attendees will have a grasp of the high-level impact of organizational readiness and capability to successfully implement and sustain change.
After 20 years in the automotive industry, including starting up five global manufacturing operations and multiple turnarounds, Tom Waggoner left Mercedes-Benz as their Chief Purchasing officer in 2009 to begin coaching lean and technology teams around the world.
