Maintenance Mechanic II

  • Maintain a high level of safety awareness, follow all safety procedures, and ensure a clean and safe work environment for all guests and employees.
  • Responsible for completing and ensuring the completion of all the facility general maintenance to include painting, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, kitchen equipment, and mechanical systems.
  • Responsible for maintaining lawn care and landscaping of grounds inclusive of plowing, shoveling, sweeping, mowing, weeding, planting, trimming, raking and removal of garbage and debris.
  • Maintain and monitor all lift stations. Perform preventive maintenance, repair, and replacement work on equipment.
  • Review auditable documents and daily readings of pool equipment to ensure compliance with state and local codes.
  • Manage the computer-based preventive maintenance program by upgrading, deleting, and confirming information on all equipment as needed.
  • Responsible for adjusting and maintaining comfortable temperature levels throughout the property using the computer software.
  • Provide exceptional guest service for all external and internal customers.
  • Responsible for assisting the Maintenance Manager with the operation of the Maintenance department, successful performance of employees, and a favorable guest experience.
  • Responsible for effectively assisting with managing, delegating duties, and the performance and development of department staff; inclusive of interviewing, hiring, training, evaluating, coaching, and termination of staff.
  • Perform all functions of personnel within span of control, as needed.
  • Assure an environment which emphasizes cooperation, communication, and teamwork with all departments.
  • Support compliance with all internal procedures and regulatory requirements, including those associated with underage and intoxicated guests.
  • Support current law and policy to provide a work environment free from illegal and discriminatory behavior.
  • Complete job duties with minimal supervision, maintain acceptable attendance, and use appropriate judgment.
