Community Networking Specialist
Job Summary:
We are seeking an enthusiastic, driven, and outgoing individual to serve as a Community Networking Specialist. In this commission-only role, you will identify and attend local community events, Chamber of Commerce gatherings, and other networking opportunities to generate high-quality leads. Your role will involve engaging with potential clients, building rapport, and setting up initial appointments for Holly. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives on connecting with people and is passionate about building relationships to create opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Event Identification and Attendance:
- Research and identify relevant community events, Chamber of Commerce meetings, and networking opportunities that align with our target audience.
- Proactively build a calendar of events to attend, ensuring consistent opportunities for engagement.
- Networking and Relationship Building:
- Represent the company professionally at events, introducing our services and engaging with attendees.
- Actively listen to potential clients' needs and identify opportunities where our solutions can provide value.
- Lead Generation and Qualification:
- Collect contact information from potential leads, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Qualify leads by asking key questions to understand their needs, interest levels, and suitability for our services.
- Scheduling Initial Appointments:
- Contact qualified leads promptly after events to follow up and schedule an initial appointment with Holly.
- Clearly communicate the value of our services and ensure a smooth handoff by providing detailed lead notes and insights gathered during conversations.
- Reporting and Communication:
- Maintain an organized record of all leads generated, including contact details, event information, and the status of each lead.
- Provide regular updates on progress, including event attendance, the number of leads generated, and appointment schedules.
- All other duties as assigned.
- Outstanding Interpersonal Skills: Ability to connect with diverse groups of people, build trust, and establish relationships quickly.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication to articulate our services clearly and persuasively.
- Self-Motivation and Initiative: A proactive approach to identifying opportunities, attending events, and following up with leads independently.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to track leads, maintain detailed records, and schedule appointments efficiently.
- Resilience and Positivity: Comfortable with a commission-only structure and persistent in pursuing leads, even when faced with rejection.
- Passion for Networking and Community Engagement: Genuine enthusiasm for meeting new people, representing the company, and making meaningful connections.
- Previous experience in sales, networking, or event attendance is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with Chamber of Commerce activities and community-based organizations.
- Basic understanding of leadership, sales, insurance and operational development services (training will be provided).
This is a commission-only position, where you will earn a competitive commission for each qualified lead that results in a scheduled appointment. Additional bonuses may be awarded for high performance or securing leads that result in closed business.

Commission Structure Options:
Hybrid Model:
- Combined per-lead commission with a percentage of revenue for leads that convert into paying clients.
- Fixed Amount per Appointment:
- $50 per qualified lead where you have scheduled a potential client meeting for Holly.
- Revenue-Based Commission:
- 5% of the first month’s paid revenue or first consulting invoice paid.
- This position offers increasing commissions based on the volume of qualified leads.
- Example:
- $50 per lead for the first 10 appointments in a month.
- $75 per lead for 11–20 appointments in a month.
- $100 per lead for more than 20 appointments in a month.
- Monthly Bonus Incentives:
- Bonus for generating 25 leads in a month - $250.
- Bonus for obtaining a client with an initial paid contract of $6000 or more in the first month - $500.
