Qualifications:

  • Education Required: Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology.  State of Iowa Licensed Master’s in Social Work (LMSW) or Temporary Licensed Mental Health Counselor (T-LMHC) and must be engaged in clinical supervision and apply for full licensure and pass the exam within 6 months of completing their clinical supervision to maintain employment.
  • Education Preferred: PhD in Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology. Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology. Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) preferred. or equivalent license in the State of Iowa.
  • Experience Required: Open.
  • Experience Preferred: One year of clinical experience.
  • Valid driver’s license in good standing and vehicle with appropriate auto insurance required. Must be able to pass the motor vehicle record background check.

 

 

Position Specifics

  • Typically reflecting a 32-hour work week.
  • Position Hours: Typically 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with flexibility and occasional evening hours to accommodate client needs.
  • Full-time position.
  • Salaried exempt position.
  • The position requires fulfilling 22 billable services each week.
  • Salaried position at $60,000.00

  • Position Location: Quad Cities.
  • The role is based in the Quad Cities, primarily within a school setting. When school is not in session, the therapist will work from the office.

 

 

Position Details

The Family Resources Therapist delivers counseling and therapy sessions aimed at alleviating stress and addressing social, emotional, or behavioral issues that jeopardize or have already impacted the stability of individuals or families. Duties encompass individual, family, or group therapy, crisis intervention, conducting assessments, and participating in training and marketing efforts. The incumbent must possess reliable transportation and provide proof of auto insurance. These duties are conducted under the guidance of the Supervisor of Community Clinical Services. Flexibility in scheduling, including potential work on evenings, weekends, and holidays, is encouraged for this role.
