Job Description The person in this position is responsible for working with business and industry through local needs assessments, determination of public offerings for the local area, sales and services through coordination and communication of college offerings.
Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience, excellent communication and organization skills, previous case management skills or sales skills
Preferred Qualifications Master’s Degree, CRM experience, background in business or non-credit programming a plus
Physical Demands

 

  • This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and scanning.
  • This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary.
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
 
Salary Minimum Starting Salary: $51,000
Typical Duties and Responsibilities 1. Periodic assessment of training needs of local business, industry, and agencies.
2. Determination of public offerings to the business, industry, and agency target market.
3. Work with the local employer to develop training plans to meet the needs of the workforce and follow up on the implementation of the plan as well as future sales to the company.
4. Sale and implementation of customized training programs to the identified targeted market.
5. Provide follow-up services to recipients of training.
6. Work with district and campus marketing personnel in developing coordinated marketing activities.
7. Promote and assist in the budget monitoring of all 260E and 260F projects.
8. Work with the Program Managers, Registered Apprenticeship Coordinator, and/or Director of Economic Development on customized training and 260E and 260F projects, to develop grant/customized training opportunities.
9. Promote continuing education courses
10. Work with business and industry to identify training needs
11. Provide quality customer service that meets or exceeds the expectations of internal and external customers.
12. Documentation in the local CRM.
13. Other duties as assigned.
