About Us

Colona is a progressive community of 5100 residents. It was originally the City of Green Rock and the Village of Colona which merged in 1997.

Colona sits at the eastern edge of the Quad Cities,close to metro amenities and services, but retaining its small town charm.

The crown jewel ofColona is the Hennepin Canal State Parkway which flows through from one end of town to the other andoffers an abundance of recreational opportunities.

Colona has three TIF districts, an industrial park and plenty of land for both commercial and residential development.
