About Us

The Moline-Coal Valley School District is the largest school district in Northwest Illinois and 26th largest unit district in the State. It is home to Moline High School, two middle schools, 10 elementary schools, an alternative High School and a model public pre-school. District enrollment is 7,323. The new Hamilton Elementary opened fall of 2015. The state-of-the-art 21st century school features flexible, collaborative learning spaces; classrooms with glass garage doors that open into a two-story media center, a learning stair; and a discovery lab.
